Best for Britain my ***.

The man broke the Bank of England in the nineties and thinks he knows best ? The man shouldn’t be given the time of day.
I know what a crisis is but what the F is an 'existential crisis?
The man broke the Bank of England in the nineties and thinks he knows best ?

that question seems to answer itself quite well

Question Author
yes it cost 3.3 billion approx 0.003% of GDPR, hardly "breaking the bank of England":
Another silly sound bite beloved of the Anti British.

Whatever Soros says the best for the majority is the exact opposite.

This Hungarian American should push off back to whichever country he prefers most and keep out of it.
"Anti-Brexit billionaire George Soros has urged the EU to "transform itself into an association that countries like Britain would want to join"."

Been there, tried that (well at least that nice Mr Cameron did), didn't get the T-Shirt and Mr C was told to go forth and multiply.

No amount of anti-EU and anti-euro sentiment across the continent will make any difference to the Euromaniacs. Nothing - least of all the will of people - must interrupt the progress of The Project. Quite what it will take to make people understand what is happening to them is a mystery.
Looks like he is going to launch a campaign to secure a Second referendum in the next few days. How would you vote this time ?.
'...the EU needs to transform itself into an association which nations like Britain would want to join."'

Nothing wrong with that statement.
"Looks like he is going to launch a campaign to secure a Second referendum in the next few days. How would you vote this time ?."

Yes, except that the proposed referendum would be whether or not to accept the terms of the "final deal", not whether or not the UK should leave the EU.

If there was a second referendum asking the same question as the first I would vote to Leave (why would anybody change their mind?). If there was a referendum on the deal it depends (a) on what the deal is and (b) what the alternative to rejecting the deal might be. For the deal to be acceptable it would have to include (as a bare minimum) leaving both the Single Market and the Customs Union, the ECJ having no say whatsoever over the UK's affairs and an end to freedom of movement.
NO HE IS NOT , NEW JUDGE! George Soros is campaigning for a second referendum on leaving the EU. OK!.
He seems to have multiple aims if the article is to be believed.

1. "Best for Britain aims to persuade MPs to back a referendum on the final Brexit deal when they vote on it in the Autumn"

2. ...and to persuade enough Leave voters to change their minds [so Brexit can be stopped] !!!!!!

But he seems rather confused, thinking that the decision to leave hasn't been made yet. Poor addled fellow.

"Ultimately, it's up to the British people to decide what they want to do. It would be better however if they came to a decision sooner rather than later." That decision has been made, he mustn't have noticed the referendum result. Probably needs a nurse and sheltered housing.
There’s no need to shout.

I believe his plan is to persuade MPs to vote down the terms of the final agreement in October and then put those terms to the electorate. If they are rejected in a referendum there would be a second referendum on membership. But who knows? I’m not entirely sure that Mr Soros is absolutely clear what he’s proposing. Interestingly he says “Ultimately it’s up to the British people to decide what they want to do.” He should recall that they did – on June 23rd 2016.

I say Mr Soros is confused because, more interestingly he admits that just about everything that could go wrong with the EU has and that it now faces an “existential crisis”. This demonstrates to me that political ideology has trumped pragmatism and people who should know better have taken leave of their senses. Just why would anybody want to remain involved with an organisation that is in such dire straits and what is Mr Soros going to do to convince people it is worth staying attached to a sinking ship?
I voted out and will do so IF forced to due to weak politicians not carrying out the will of the people. Who is this bloke to go against the result ?

judge: "I believe his plan is to persuade MPs to vote down the terms of the final agreement in October and then put those terms to the electorate. If they are rejected in a referendum there would be a second referendum on membership. " - if they are rejected we leave with no terms, surely, which is the best thing that can happen.
“…if they are rejected we leave with no terms, surely, which is the best thing that can happen.”

If I could be sure that was the case, 3Ts, I would vote against any deal, however good it was said to be. Any UK:EU deal that is agreed will benefit one party only and it won’t be the UK. More than that, it will of the greatest benefit to just two members of the remaining 27 – Germany and France. Nobody else really matters.

I said from the outset that we should leave and trade on WTO terms. Dozens of other nations do so. The EU has few comprehensive trade agreements with any of the major players including their two biggest trading partners, USA and China. Other far weaker trading nations than the UK manage quite well on those terms without being beholden to the Euromaniacs in any way, shape or form.

In any case, I think this is becoming somewhat academic. It seems Italy might well be out of the EU before the UK is. If they continue to be bullied as we have seen in the last week the whole putrid house of cards will come tumbling down. Then Germany and France can get on with it.
