Sounds like he is a good man who had a bad start, now a wonderful role model for kids tempted towards gang culture. Glad Harry has friends from the real world.
It is good to see that Prince Harry can see the potential in others and doesn’t dwell just on their past.
Brilliant - Harry just gets more and more likeable.
Former soldier - served with the lads and can see good in people. What more do you want?
It is a pity people like him cant go straight to being a good person BEFORE going through the gun culture, knife crime, drug dealing etc.

I have seen so many interviews with people from the ethnic community explaining how they were so bad when young before they went on the straight and narrow.

A few years ago saw an interview with a "black" Dutch footballer (played in Premier league, now retired) who said the same thing.

Back in Holland as a youngster, got involved in drugs, gangs, crime, guns and knives etc before football saved them.

For some of us this is why we are so anti immigration.

People from this type of ethnic community come here (or are the children of immigrants) and get involved in this type of criminal lifestyle.

It does not HAVE to be like that, but our politicians (all parties) have been so soft they have allowed it to happen and have done little to stop it.

And we are all supposed to embrace multi culturalism as though it has all been a wonderful thing.
Lives can be turned around and good for the long term come from it - happened with a nephew of mine.

It's a huge credit to all involved along the path that helps people get to where they should be.
Most folk are capable of redemption .

Nice to see Harry acknowledging publicly in this particular case , that fact
Thanks aog for drawing attention to this wonderful story ;-)
shows redemption and forgiveness

Seems from some of the answers it is best to start off as a bad en, then later reform.

It's a pity that those youngsters that choose to lead the good life and respect law and order, don't get to enjoy the same privileges and support.
The same applies in Heaven, "I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."

AOG...maybe it's a harder, more difficult path to be bad and then see the error of ones ways. It's always easier to admire those who have always been "good", but there is even more to admire in those people who have come through difficult times. They've seen both sides and have had to work harder.
