There have been one or two newspaper stories about this - but the Wiki entry is better :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Harrison_(blood_donor)

Over 1000 unpaid donations (the last one this week) and over 2 million lives saved - what extraordinary altruism - there is good in the world whilst people like Mr Harrison exist.

Fantastic! Thanks for that, Dave :-)
Yes, a top man and a wonderful uplifting story.
A big thank you to Mr Harrison.
Terrific effort. I had to stop blood-doning when I arrived in France. They wouldn't accept English blood because of CJD. Sad, 'cos a glass of red wine and a good biscuit was the reward! I was a donor for over 20 years, but couldn't dream of achieving what Mr Harrison has done.

Well done that man!
Well done Mr Harrison.
