So the question is, who will lose most convincingly.
(i.e., who really will do the most badly)

I imagine Ukip, if they're still standing. The Tories have taken over their ground almost completely.
on what do you base this gromit? If there are losers there must be winners or at least those that do better than expected.
...or do you mean a low turnout?
Though local elections are nothing to do with national government, the ruling party always do badly in them.It is a sort of protest vote by those who do not like the present government.
....yes eddie, though I suspect the Jewish vote for Labour may suffer somewhat!
Every party will WIN today's Local Elections - just listen to the party leaders tomorrow and they will explain why they won. "You lost n thousand seats" - "Yes, but not as many as we thought, so that's good" etc
What elections?
The results are pretty irrelevant.
Quite a lot of people will be voting for the ‘least rubbish party’ at the moment.

The Tories are hopelessly tearing each other to pieces over Brexit.

Labour offers no good opposition, with a leader who is principled but uninspiring, and an Shadow Home Secretary who seems to have learning difficulties.

LibDems? I literally know nothing about them. If they disbanded it would mean nothing.

UKIP? How many leaders have they had since I started writing this sentence? An irrelevance.

Seriously - we have a bucket of nonsense masquerading as our political class.
What elections are these?
Council elections in England and Wales.
In local elections many people vote for the candidate rather than a political party.
Not Wales, JD. (fairly sure)
You may well be right. I didn't check.
Talking of local government, did you know that the Government's new Minister for Local Government is:

James Brokenshire.

Really.
looks like my prediction worked out. This is a first.
