She has entirely lost my support - such as it was- and will not lose any sleep over that perhaps, but there seems to be gathering condemnation at home and abroad e.g.

Yes. I don't particularly care about the legal niceties. There was no urgency required in this action (if it was due to chemical weapons) except for the American timetable, and therefore she was morally obliged to consult parliament as Cameron did. Yes. I don't particularly care about the legal niceties. There was no urgency required in this action (if it was due to chemical weapons) except for the American timetable, and therefore she was morally obliged to consult parliament as Cameron did. I imagine, however, that she was concerned about losing the vote and also that the US has learned from last time - i.e. that waiting for trivial little things like parliamentary approval includes the risk of losing.

May is an embarrassment.
Khandro. having declared yourself a newly converted Corbyn supporter because of this, you have lost, for me, what little credibility you had. I refer you once again to Thomas Mann.

I disagree entirely with the action taken because it could result in wide-ranging and unforeseen (at least by some politicians) consequences - but as far as I'm aware she didn't need parliamentary approval.
Decisions have to be made and it is the difficult one's that cause controversy.
My opinion, for what it is worth, Macron and Trump were all systems go and so was the UK government.........so.....decide.
May had no legal requirement to call Parliament for a vote , so she didn't.
Good or bad, advised or ill advised a decision was made......now support it.

Good or bad, it's done - but I can't support it.
LOL...OK^^
Actually, sqad, I can't even muster a smile about this...
Bit like me with Brexit, Naomi.

The problem with the world today (well, one of the problems) is that there are so many people, that for any given situation there will be enough of them who condemn the Govt of the day which gives the impression of support, when in fact, it’s just a group of people with an equally uneducated understanding of how the world works, having their twopennethworth.
Even us thickos are entitled to an opinion, Professor Zacs.
Mmm. I think you just made my point.
Zacs, I disagree with it but, unlike you with your Brexit obsession, I at least have the sense to acknowledge it’s done.
no, what's the point in being PM if you have to go to the house for permission to do anything. ridiculous notion.
We should have had a referendum.........oh hang on........some try to ignore them anyway.
so Khandro, over to agent Cob eh? So easy to influence you isn't it! PMSL
She did not make this decision on her own.She consulted, and got approval from, the cabinet. There was no obligation to ask for parliamentary approval.

yes. but typically, what do the do when given the opportunity to opine? they name a research ship "Boaty McBoatface".
Quite, mush.

Anyroadup, getting back to the subject matter, I’m surprised that Khandro hasn’t heard of the royal prerogative.
Naomi, find me one instance where I have said I don’t accept that Brexit will happen. I’ll save you some time......there’s isn’t one.
Stop moaning then.
She consulted cabinet and moved with their knowledge ... speed was of the essence..and she IS the prime minister..that is what she was elected to do ...
Naomi, the military action is done but that didn’t stop you moaning at 08:56.

You’re hipocrisy knows no limit, does it.
