The Aintree Festival 'Lady's Day' has always been 'Tarty'with short / revealing skirts /tops and cleavage on show. The real fashion show is Royal Ascot.

^ Royal Ascot has a very strict fashion / dress code with stewards enforcing standards. That is NOT the case at Aintree where anything goes,the shorter & more revealing the better.

TBH, I would not be seen DEAD looking like a lot of women go to the races, but each to their own.

I'm afraid it is all symptomatic of just how poorly dressed the British have become. Compare the Wimbledon audience with those at say, the French Open and see the difference. People now in Britain go to the theatre in tee shirts and jeans, few people even know how to dress stylishly today.
