If you don't want tributes attached to your property then you ought not be forced to have them. Let folk set up their tribute to the burglar elsewhere.

///disrespectful///

How can you disrespect a Burglar with a Track Record for Conning and Breaking into Old Peoples Homes.
Let him have his Tributes at his Funeral, but not stuck all over someone elses property.

At the bottom of the article it said that the tributes were from his family and friends from the travelling community.
The scumbag is dead, you have left your tributes to the scumbag. Now do what travellers do ...*** off and travel to somewhere else and annoy some other poor sod, leave the old fellow alone.
I think respect is a two way street. I have absolutely no problem with Mr Vincent's family remembering him, grieving for him and leaving floral tributes for him. However, doing it right outside his victim's house was probably a little insensitive. Particularly as Mr Vincent's clan have supposedly issued threats to Mr Osborn-Brooks.

Very threatening. The travelling community are/can be dangerous. Many of them won't see it other than the pensioner killed one of their own.
Doing it right outside his victim's house was massively insensitive: and I suspect deliberately so given they would likely erroneously consider the victim of crime the perpetrator of their relative's death instead.
Very threatening. I doubt the couple will be able to live in their home again.
Travelling community! Says it all, really.
Sickening.
I would give the old boy a community award. Had the burglar not been committing a crime he would more than likely still be alive. The old boy did the community a favour. If there was a fund set up for him I would contribute.

I can't remember anything being reported on the national news that he was from the travelling community.
Some of the papers are saying he has received death threats and is living in a police guarded safe house. That sounds pretty threatening to me. I never did like the idea of leaving flowers at a death scene, where I live there are now appearing gravestones at the side of the road where somebody was killed. What with these, flowers, toys, football shirts and balloons and other paraphernalia hanging from trees, it all looks a bit bizarre and quickly becomes a mess.
\\ I can't remember anything being reported on the national news that he was from the travelling community.//
It's in the link.

I don't particularly want to go on the naughty step so I shall refrain from saying which words I would use to replace 'travelling community'.
