There are 26 new designs celebrating Britishness.

They are alphabetically ordered. While I like some of them, others are pretty crap.

Which do you like .
Which do you dislike .
Do you have better alternatives for some letters ?

I honestly could not care less.

So long as I can buy things with them any design is fine by me.
I'm not sure what some of them are meant to be representing. Why J? What are k and z? For instance.
K = King Arthur
Z = Zebra crossing

J, Jubilee Coach
As long as there are no females on them, because that means Twitter storms. So a queue instead of a queen, and absolutely no yeowomen.

I thought Anotheoldgit might have made it on there, but they have a daft statue instead for A.

Was the selection process done by Blue Peter viewers ?

all lovely gromit, which ones are offending you, U, perhaps?
A= Angel of the north, why daft?
I'm not sure it's a good idea to bring out these 'collectible' coins. There will be loads of them stuck in people's houses not being spent. Like the Olympic 50ps.
The director of the Royal Mint Museum says "This really drills down into the heartland of what makes Britain British. It's the granularity of British life celebrated on the coinage."

Doesn't sound much like Blue Peter, tbh.
never mind jno, no doubt they'll bring out the A to Z of anti Britishness too.
I'm not sure about the macintosh. I've never worn one in my life, and nor have I seen many people wearing one. They might as well have had B for bowler hat.
I first thought E was for egg, not English breakfast.
Anyway, I'll probably still try to collect the set. When are these coming out?
I love the idea- amazed they got away with these quintessentially British images, to be honest. Was expecting to see B for Burkha, F for Foodbank, R for Remainer etc. Well done to Royal Mint.
At a quick glance, I thought the S said a swear word. I quite like them, though.
PMSL Hazi! A for Asylum seeker! D for Dole dosser!
Only 1 for Scotland - what about Wales and Northern Ireland?
I think all are very apt and no doubt we could all come up with alternatives.

Don't be so granular, TTT.
9.07 and 9.16. Haaaa! How funny!! Crying here. Very good!
