Nice India is getting something but as a public/private venture I wonder how much the UK tax payer will be funding it (Via Aid) ?

UK aid to India is relatively small at £150million.

Which won’t go very far in financing the £10billion project.

I admire your inventiveness is changing a technology news story into one about grasping foreigners, if ithough the two are unconnected. Well done.

It'll look good with all those extra passengers on the roof.

You seriously think that the Mail wouldn't mention any British aid involved? The U.K. stooped dishing out aid to India a couple of years ago, but private enterprise is free to invest anywhere it can foresee profits, which presumably you approve of?

Perhaps it's as well its not being done in Britain by the likes of Carillion; the record of public/private ventures here isn't good. But I can't see any evidence that your savings, or mine, are at risk in India. And if it all works out, then we can try it here.
