Should ‘Britain First’ Now Be Banned ?
With the conviction of Darren Osbourne, evidence in court shows he was radicalised by visiting the Britain First website over several weeks.
He then went on to kill someone in a terrorist attack, and injury scores of others.

Surely this shows that Britain First crosses the line from being a genuine protest group, and firmly places them in the position that they encourage terrorism, and indoctrinate gullible fools to commit murder.
Many muslim groups have been proscribed for less. They are on par with Scottish Dawn and should be treated similarly.

BF should be proscribed ASAP. Its been obvious what kind of organisation is really is for many months.
Its Leaders are in Court soon, in Belfast.
But it seems that no matter what they do, they will always have some reluctant supporters on AB....the kind of people that post comments, supporting when BF make anti-Muslim tweets.

What other extremist groups are banned and how is that going?
Being a racist and spouting racist views doesn't mean they insite violence per sa. So have any of you visited these extremist BF sites and checked out what was said? And of course have you visited other extremist sites such as Islamic sites and done the same to compare?

Emmie....quite a few organisations are already proscribed, and yes, you are right, if any group spreads hate and racism, yes...of course they should be banned::

Nobody nor any organisation should be banned in a free country - unless they are actually inciting violence.
We have ample laws to cover all eventualities, we already have far too many thought police trying to tell us what to do and think as they do.
Neither the Muslim Brotherhood (whom incidentally, I dislike intensely) nor the Britain First Group (whom I don't support) are actually inciting violence.
