...is to heal, or so I thought.
Trump wants to allow medics to refuse treatment on religious grounds to transgenders, or to women seeking abortion advice.

well with the barbaric US system they refuse treatment all the time if you are potless so I don't suppose this is much of a leap.
google play won't open for me
So go to a doctor who will be ok with it.

God knows, there are enough left wing, right-on doctors.
The aBBC has a roll call of them on speed-dial.
Being pregnant isn't something in need of healing. Neither is trying to mimic a different gender. That stated I'd have thought a doctor's remit was more than simple healing.
Being pregnant isn't something in need of healing as much as prostate cancer is.
If you live to 100 years old as a male your chance of prostate cancer is 100%.
You can either die from it, not be phased by it, or need treatment to manage it.
Quid pro quo (as the name suggests) :)

I'm not sure what prostrate cancer...as bad as it is...has to do with the question. Nor was being pregnant stated as "needing healing".
The man is going backwards.
I thought this was contrasting a duty to heal with a refusal to treat women seeking advice on abortion ?
Would or does the new law allow refusal to treat any medical need of say a transgender person or just refusal to treat something specifically in relation to transgender? Such as cutting bits off.

Say they went in having been shot in the leg. Would they be allowed to refuse to treat them?

I have no time for religion but tbh if you are going into health care as a profession then unless you specialise and would never come across any situation that your religious or moral stance dictates, you sign up to it all not just the bits you want.

Thank goodness it isn't Al Salvador. You get put in prison for up to 50 years if you have a miscarriage.
It happens in this country – see my link at 22:29 Thu. Regardless of patient safety our NHS has even made concessions to hygiene rules but only to accommodate those who feel that their religious foibles preclude them from adhering to the rules that apply to everyone else. As I said, eyes and planks.
Maybe Trump should read this:-
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippocratic_Oath
The president doesn't have time to be reading about robot river horses, Danny, he's doing important colouring in and almost managing to stay inside the lines.

Covfefe.
Either I’m missing something or other people here are. Shouldn’t similar criticism also apply to this country and to any other country that allows concessions in health care for religious reasons? Proof positive that when Trump’s name is mentioned the blinkers come down.
Could you give an instance of that please Naomi.,
Yes, danny, if only he'd read the Hippocratic Oath, 'I swear by Apollo & all the Gods' he wouldn't be allowing religious principles to interfere with 'correct' practice.
I think Don is merely used as an obvious example, Naomi. Same rules should apply to all. But Don too.
Danny, see my link at 22:29 Thu.
