Just a gentle hint, TTT. The word is pseudo, not psuedo. I would hate for the lefty spelling police to pick you up on that.

It depends what their alternatives are at the next election.

For example, give Tony Robinson the choice of voting Corbyn, Rees-Mogg or Cable and he might struggle ...

well they had that choice in 1979, how did that work out?

If you move away from middle England you are effectively putting yourself at a great disadvantage. No matter what you think of him His Tonyness was very astute on that point and consequently won elections.
That is true. Elections are won or lost in the 100 or so marginal seats. The rest might as well not bother voting.
Electors are swayed by personal awareness rather than election promises. It strikes me that politicians rarely carry out their promises so put names in a hat & select.

bang on YMB, tell mikey!
His Tonyness won elections for the right as he abandoned policies for power. It's not the way unless one is only interested in one's own career.

Many vote for the ideas of the party as a whole and against the other lot. Individuals standing have less influence. Whereas the system is that you vote for your individual specific representative. It's an indication of how broken the system is, how it fails to be a representative democracy and simply a choice of elites to lord it over the masses for a period; because votes aren't chosen properly.
