NJ, thanks for the thought, I hadn't seen it as I was not on AB for long on Sunday. Emmie has just drawn my attention to it. He was truly one of the Heroes of the Conflict, It was his drive and commitment that made the 'Red and Green Life Machine' function as well as it did, having said that they were all Great. "R I P Mr Jolly, you are a Star Sir."

Baldric was serving with the Marines during the Falklands conflict. He is probably reflecting on the "news" whilst some are making light of the men who endured the realities.

Indeed there were. But your ex is not, as far as I know, a regular AB-er whereas Balders is. I am grateful to him (and all the others, including your ex, who went and did the business) and I just thought Baldric would like to see the news item.
