Can you never call people but their given name?
Do you have to insult everyone?
You do know that is not how to hold a debate don't you?
Head/Wall interface, not worth the bother.
Thank you for echoing my post (which was removed by the way) Islay.
I actually thought Islay’s post was about yours, maggie.
Not sure what the article means by 'Henry VIII powers'. Presumably they refer to the Royal Prerogative, the power to make laws without consulting parliament. This has been practised throughout the ages by monarchs, not just Henry. Today the government exercises that prerogative on behalf of the Queen.

I can't understand why Maggie's post was removed but TTT continued insults to anyone (not just this one) but his continue Vb mentioning is allowed to stay!
I rather liked maggie's post - sad to see it removed.
Didn't see the removed post so can't comment. It appears that someone is playing fastest finger on the button.

I have not insulted anyone.
Whilst VB might be pejorative it is not an insult directed towards a particular ABer so it does not break Site Rules.
// Determined To Leave Both The Eu And The Uk! //

Scotland will leave the EU in March 2019 whether they want to or not. That will happen before another Independence referendum.
If they do vote for Independence, they will be free to apply to join the EU in their own right.

Hope this sorts out your confusion Tora.

I'm not confused but I think Jimmy is, if they vote to leave the UK then they'll be at the mercy of the EU if they want to join, though gawd knows why they'd want to assuming they did actually want independence.
Still at it TTT? Just who is "Jimmy"?
If it were up to me there would be no need for a referendum. I would grant independence by return of post. That would stop their whinging which is more painful on the ear than the sound of bagpipes, and that's saying something!
not going to happen..despite Queen Nicola's rantings..the people have already spoken and she is fast losing grip on her own position with SNP now...
A reference to Jimmy Krankie (aka Janette Tough) . Sturgeon bears a striking physical resemblance.
Sigh, they're all at it.
