Hate speech is speech which attacks a person or group on the basis of attributes such as race, religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or gender. ... A website which uses hate speech may be called a hate site. I'm sure you could have googled that

Could they please also suspend Donald ...

One thing at a time Itchy !
Shock! Horror!

Site created for morons bans two nonentities.
Question Author
Jack....I will agree but Twitface has millions of users, and mud sticks.
Where are they to be suspended from?
I don't want them to suspend Donald, he's amusing.
BA for JD, I cannot see the attraction with these public cesspits.

Wolfie....they have been suspended from Twitter.
Pity they dont react to some other extremist groups in the same manner, plus those that slander people continually.

It is however purely virtue signalling, new accounts have probably already been setup and besides they only suspended the 'leaders' not Britain First.

YMB......... "besides they only suspended the 'leaders' not Britain First"

From the link ::::"The organisation's official Twitter page has suffered the same fate"

I have done a search on Twitter, and all I can find is this :::::

So they can stop it, pity they dont do it for other far worse organisations then.

I still expect individual members are on there though.
Ymg. What other extremist groups should be suspended ?
Their charming Facebook page is still going strong: the latest petition invites you to sign to get them unbanned.
Someone is complaining that they paid to join BF but never had any reply or contact from the organisation but managed to get their money back (which makes you wonder if they had actually paid) "shame, because I do support them" :-)
Perhaps the twit hierarchy will start to ban isis accounts, riot organisers, child porn, and other miscreants. Don't hold your breath there though. Their diligence would appear to be reserved for only the perceived "right wing" twits if you do a little research into who actually gets banned. Including the "accidental" suspension of the POTUS account. Haha lovely.
One more step against free speech.
no AOG, a much needed step against hate speech. You are still free to be racist, don't worry.
Question Author
I am continually amazed at how much support for BF there still is on AB !
It is you who show a remarkable fascination with the far right Mikey. I may have pointed this out previously. If you missed it allow me.

//.just as in a horseshoe magnet opposites do definitely attract. Which may go some way towards explaining Mikey's obvious fascination with all things far right. He likes to appear to have almost prescient insight into the workings of the far right but strangely no perception of the mirror image Marxist left. //

//a much needed step against hate speech//

Please define "hate speech".

I have no problem with stopping messages that incite violence, however stopping so called hate speech does start to impinge on freedom of speech.

Anne, see Togo's answer.

Mickey, I have seen zero support for BF. The majority of contributors on here are able to detach from the hysteria and debate the finer points, that does not mean they condone or agree.
