I heard about morning but didn't have the time to check it out. I hope there are no dangerous animals there
all dead now, wolf.

I suppose accidents do happen.
That is dreadful news. They obviously have no idea what they are doing, it seems. They've killed this one, that's for sure!
this must be a chain reaction.....
Authorities say the cases may be lynxed.
That is not funny, DTC!
...and Douglas!

Nothing funny about it at all.
I stick to Goldfinger's maxim: Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action. I'm not calling for them to be closed down yet.
I am. I think they are playing at zookeeping.
that's zoology for you.....seriously, there are many more lynx running around than the 'government' would acknowledge - and most are not a threat, as they prefer wee beasties like Haggis, Rabbits or Voles - and even a Kit-Kat or two....
I’ve just had a KitKat.
as good as a Crunchy?
Question Author
DTC we are talking about a second lynx that was NOT running around the countryside but was mishandled, sounds like strangled, in the care of people who are supposed to know what they are doing.
Noooo DTC. Crunchies are king.
sorry ladybirder, take this for what it is worth, it was lynched not lynxed.....

From what I know of them, they are not likely to be a human threat as the UK environment affords plenty of small beasties year around for them to survive on, the issue for folk is knowing where they are.....
Question Author
DTC I know they're not. I haven't said they are. This thread is supposed to be about the idiots who have now caused the death of a second lynx through mishandling it whilst in their care. Nothing to do with running around in the countryside.
I'd guess that neither event was intentional and certainly not something to get up to high doh about.
They have held their hands up and said 'no excuse' to this incident, damn shame a beautiful creature has died.

Let's see what the inspection has to say.
Couldn't run a zoo if their lives depended on it !! Damn shame ...
