No, I was hoping he'd get 30.
No amount of time could ever be enough, the Court has decided.
He got life with a minimum of 18 years so could be in for longer.

I'm sure they'll be loads saying we should bring back hanging...
That's along time to try and stay alive.
I look forward to the first post mentioning soap and showers.
Shocking and horrible.

A minimum of 18 years seems right.
As a minimum, that seems about right for this evil man.

Soap and showers.
What a despicable creature he is to do that to a child that he is 'supposedly' rearing.
The husband has been very quiet on the matter. Were they living together? Did he not notice anything amiss??
The husband worked away a lot and accidents, bumps, bruises were explained like everyday clumsy toddler stuff.

very uncomfortable reading. but it does explain the judge's reasoning as to length of minimum term.

Thanks for that mushroom.
Does anybody know what's happened to the other adopted child?
i would hang the bstard
Good ....I have no sympathy with this dreadful man at all.
Me too em.
Lethal injection .What point is there in keeping him alive.?
Too long. A short sharp lethal injection administered asap would be better – and if anyone tells me that’s an emotional reaction, it isn’t.

Yes, thanks. I read the whole of that. I think that 18 years in the circumstances (talking into account the aggravating and mitigating factors) is about right.
