It would appear to have every appearance of a cover-up.

These things need investigating whatever political party is involved.
Dreadful if true, awful to tell such a young woman to keep quiet about that.
For all these accusations I would like to see the Police investigate not whichever Political party it happens to be.

Complete transparancey needs to be the order of the day.

only posted on AB if Labour is involved, though.
Have there been any rape allegations against a Tory?

And if there has, why havn't you put up a post instead of just sniping from the corner?
there have been a variety of allegations against unnamed Tories and a few named ones. I don't waste my time posting allegations. I'm just pointing out that AB's ultras do so only when it involves the Labour party. Quite why they like to play politics with something that is clearly a cross-party problem I don't know; just tacky, I suppose.

At this point I will remind everyone that I have only ever voted Labour in my life. So your accusation of being one of AB's ultras, jno(whatever that means) is Rowlocks and Drivel.

If want to add any of the reported incidents involving Conservatives feel free to do so, they need naming and shaming.

Adam Sandler touches a knee in public and AB goes wild ... accusations of Rape and a cover-up by a senior Labour party member and we get more of a 'meh' reaction.
It's a strange place is AB .

if you*
Well here is at least one woman who is far from happy with the way that things are going.

Blimey aog... what a dangerously stupid woman.
Lets calm down here.....nobody is suggesting that this is a party-political issue at all.
As far as I can see it jno, YOU are the one playing party politics no one else.

Talbot, a labour supporter has raised the question, mickey a labour supporter has said x-party and I a (mainly) Tory have said x-party.

I alos think there is a big distinction between unsubstantiated 'clumsy passes' and 'knee touching' and rape.

I repeat, if a Toryor any other party for that matter (and it would not surprise if more came out) then please feel free to comment.

//I don't waste my time posting allegations.//

No, you just snipe at others that raise posts.

Nice.

Talbot, a labour supporter

Correction ... Talbot, a former labour supporter.
I hate the current crop of loonies running the party ... but that doesn't make me a Tory supporter.
Apologies Talbot. I can quite understand, it must be very frustrating for you.
Politicising rape and sexual assault really helps no-one apart from the perpetrators.

Allegations (especially the most serious) need to be thoroughly investigated away from the glare of publicity.

People (mainly men) in positions of power have an unhealthy sense of entitlement when it comes to those lesser mortals who inhabit their orbit....

they're little tinkers in that Labour party aren't they!
If you ask me the whole rotten Westminster swamp needs draining.
jackthehat

You constantly seem to have a 'downer' towards men.

I don't know if I am being rude in asking you this, but would you cry 'rape' if another female were to make unwelcome advances towards you?
My reply late last night was neither a 'meh' or a politically based response. I am not a political animal.

I approached it from the angle of someone telling a 19 year old to keep quiet about an alleged rape.

Whoever can do that either alone or as part of a grander scheme is sick.
