How do you know that all apps don't ?
Some naive people think it doesn’t happen or can only happen if hou give apps permission which is not always the case.

It’s a real eye opener but just the tip of the iceberg, some hackers watch people via their phone/tablet cameras as well as their laptop cams which is why I cover mine up but unfortunately you can stop them listening to you
I think this is built in to most smartphones anyway with GPS.

I have an Android phone and went to Dorset a couple of years ago. Of course my phone kept track of everywhere I went on that holiday.

When I came back I went in to Google Photos and without me even asking Google Photos had created a small photo album tracking where I had been on holiday and showing some of the photos I had taken on my phone.

This was done by Google without me even asking or even me being aware it was doing it.

Anyone who has a Google / Android phone log on to Google Photos on your phone or on your PC and see wht .
My phone's not spying on me. There's no signal here, it's switched off and it doesn't have a camera. All it does is make and receive calls. I'll stick with it. :)

Terryfying possibilities.
^^ I typed 'terrifying'. GRRRRR!
C’mon then Julie, give me some apps which can spy on you without permission.
Yet again Chrome hangs while using AB so I get the funny end of my update above.

Anyway go to Google Photos and logon with the same gmail address you use on your phone and see your photos and any that Google has "added"

Well that’s extremely handy in an emergency or when you want to take a once in a lifetime photo/video, lol

The device you’re posting with is a spyware conduit.
Guilbert53, that’s exactly what I’m talking about, because it’s a global company it’s “okay” but had it been the dodgy weird loner who lived at the end of your street, alarm bells would ring
You can easily switch off the Google photo back up service:

I don't think my laptop has a camera, Jahulay - it may, of course, but, if so, I've never found it or switched it on, it never leaves the room; someone, somewhere may be sick of looking at my face and the wall!

For an emergency at home I have the fixed line. Elsewhere, I switch my phone on and I have a small, digital camera which I switch on if I want to take a photo. That's fine by me. Video? :)
“C’mon then Julie, give me some apps which can spy on you without permission.”

Lol, you actually think the world is unicorns and rainbows and not ran by ruthless billion dollar tech companies wanting to exploit you? Where is this beautiful la la land you live in as it sounds like a lovely place, lol
Then it should be easy to find some of these evil companies apps eh?
Yes it’s easy for YOU to find them, just go to your App Store and start downloading apps and see the invasive permissions then report back here please.
Doesn’t work like that. You’re the one claiming there are apps which spy on you. I take it your struggling?
Or you could stop being lazy and cheap and use your own internet data, lol
Also “google” is your friend
I’m on WiFi.
You’re being exceedingly childish Jules. Just prove that your assertion that there are apps which spy on you is correct. Otherwise we might think your just being a bit geeky ‘conspiracy theory’.
