Recalibrated.....?
I shouldn't bother....it will see you out for what you need without re-calibration.

Thank you Sqad. A friend mentioned it yesterday which made me investigate as I'd never heard of it before. The British Hypertension Society and others mention you should get it recalibrated according to manufacturer's instructions. But I don't have the instructions and the manufacturers aren't in this country. It suits me not to bother but ...
No but's.....;-)...........you just need a general idea of if your BP is high, moderately high OR that you are responding to treatment.
5mms of Hg plus or minus is neither here nor there.
You are not going to settle until you get a positive answer , are you? ;-)
To save you sleepless nights and so that relegate my answers to the reserves........then get it calibrated every 2 years. Either send it back to the company OR take it back to your GP and have it recalibrated against his......providing of course that he has had his re-calibrated ;-)

There!! how about that?

OK. That's it, I shan't bother. Thank you. And You Tube is the answer if I change my mind. Which I won't.
