I suppose it was asking too much that all her fellow Pakistanis would be proud to support her as she takes her place at this prestigious seat of learning.

Ignore the trolls and the jeans stay I say. What say you?

How anybody can dare to troll one of the most remarkable young women of this generation is despicable.
"I suppose it was asking too much that all her fellow Pakistanis would be proud to support her as she takes her place at this prestigious seat of learning."

Got it in one. You win the cigar.
She's already overcome much bigger obstacles than a few mindless trolls. I dare say they will get fed up before she let's them get to her.
Take no notice Malala, be who you want to be.
//What say you? //

What say I? Ditch the head covering too, Malala. Go girl!

I wish she would Naomi that would be a great answer to the trolls. If she was going to do that I would have thought she'd have done it by now. I hope I'm wrong though.
There are nasty people in all religions, all races, all genders.
Yes johnk and some are on this site
That delightful young lady is destined for great things. I don't think a few idiots are going to bother her.
Who are these idiots? And how do they know the picture is of Malala? She could be any young dark-haired woman.

When I read the headline I was expecting to see her tottering in a pair of vertiginous stilettos. Not that that would make any difference. She can wear what she wants. She's just wearing jeans and boots like every other girl of her age.

I'm still not convinced it is her in the photo anyway.
With what she has already had to brave in her life, I don't think that a few idiot trollers will faze her.
I'm not convinced it's her either.
i don't think it's her either, i've never seen her wearing glasses
typical, as soon as i post i find a picture of her wearing glasses :-)

And I don't think its her in the photo either.
She often wears glasses.

I imagine she's at some risk from these lunatics.
Surely any doubt about the identity of the woman in the picture can be determined by asking Malala if it is her or not.
Even if it is Malala in the photo, what difference does it make ?
Mikey, the difference is, if it isn't her then she has been undeservedly castigated for something she did not do.
It is her, it isn't her ... she is being 'undeservedly castigated'
