If as I have heard they get £75,000 a year not more money. Well if it is then they can take a hike.

It isn't about safety because the regulators have said it's safe.

It's not about redundancies as they have been told all staff can be relocated with guaranteed same pay for eight years.

It is inevitable that train drivers , underground and overground will be replaced by driverless trains.The Unions know this and are just trying to prolong the inevitable. The Underground system already has the capability to operate 100% driverless.

I'd go for natural wastage. Every time a driver leaves just set the train going driverless. Eventually you won't have any drivers left. Or you just keep a few to trundle round the underground now and then.

Driverless trains will be a problem no matter what party is in government. It is pointless using this as a reason to criticise Labour. The drivers know they are on the way out but will fight tooth and nail to retain their unnecessary yet highly paid jobs. A bus driver has a far harder job for less than 1/4 of the salary.

Adding up on my fingers, it occurs to me that anyone born after say the mid 60's wouldn't really have experienced as an adult the 3 day week and winter of discontent etc. when Britain was classed as the sick man of Europe.
Allow these Marxist clowns to take charge of things and Britain will be straight back there again.

Apparently May and her shower told the QUEEN , the Cons had secured support of the DUP party , and they had not , until 17 days later .
