UKIP has been accused of plagarism with its latest atempt to detoxify its image.
Its new logo is stikingly familiar, and critics say the resemblance to another lions head logo is no coincidence. "They are just trying to muddle their iddentity with the other organisaion which is more mainstream, reasonable, and popular in Westminster.

What do you think of UKIPs rip off ?

What happened to the thread I answered ?
Ok, in short, for the second time:

Different Lion.
Premier League one is a closer match.
Even that is different.
Can't draw simplified "British" lion without similarities.
Presumably removed as a duplicate - same OP.
I just tried to answer this and was told the 'page could not be retrieved'. I thought the logo was fine.
Ah! Thanks mamya. Colours are different, head position is totally different and there are only a limited number of patriotic symbols that can be used. I like it.
Not like Premier League i.m.o.. P.L. one is very abstract & stylised, UKIP one is more realistic - besides, it's unlikely that P.L will be mistaken for a political party - although this may yet happen!
Quite like it. :))
I think it looks sinister.

I don't think there is a case for plagiarism though.
I like it, no I love it ... a vote winner for sure.
They are both lions, but in fairness they are nothing like each other
Noce to see them choosing a British animal ;-)
Ok, having seen the Premier League one ...
I think it looks a bit sinister. An(other) own goal perhaps?
Friedly Lion?
Is that all the rage in Islington's Ethnic Diner.
Or have you joined Mikey at PP's English mangling classes.

Unbelievably, and I know this will be amaze everyone, but 'friedly' should have been 'friendly' and I missed the 'n' when I typed it. It was a typo.Hopefully, it did not spoil your enjoyment of this thread.

I have enjoyed that no one clicked on the links in the OP, so the answers are unintentionally funny.

I expect everyone clicked on your links.
