No feelings at all, does not affect me.
Ich bin nicht allzu besorgt darUBER .

Ha ha.

(sorry)

No odds to me at all.
I bet they won't go down quietly
It seems that TfL have serious concerns about the manner in which Uber is safeguarding, or not, its' users.

Perhaps if they get their house in order a new licence would be available to them?
Not over yet, they have 21 days to appeal.

I think it’d be great if they could get their house in order, but I suspect that the issues Uber has runs very deep indeed.
And yet the country's most dangerous taxi driver was a London black cab driver - John Worboys
My Grandfather was a London cabbie before and after the War, and my Mum told me that it took him ages to learn "The Knowledge"

I don't uses taxis anywhere these days but aren't these Uber cabs just glorified minicabs, with all of the same lack of training ?
doesn't effect me, I'm on the fence a bit, the cabby mafia will now be delighted to have got rid of some competition but uber are not without issues.
Mini cabs / private hire cars do operate in London without spending 4 years learning 'the knowledge'. With satnavs, is it really necessary to know every back street?
HC....the main point of The Knowledge is that the passenger is taken to the destination by the quickest and most direct route.

When I worked up in Town, in the late 80's and early 90's, I got a black cab to Paddington every Friday, and then again on a Sunday night, back to my Hotel in Russell Square, and in all that time, I never had any cause to complain.
What have i missed - something obviously ?

Are there safety issues with using UBER and what are they ?
The GMB Union tells Labour what to do, and sadiq Khan carries it out.
Uber works all over the world without security implications. That is just an excuse to bar them, their real crime was failing to kow tow to Labour's third rate London politicians.
I guess there will be thousands of Uber drivers lining up for the rock and roll now then.

Clearly a political decision, Khan may regret this. Hardly in the spirit of competition.

"Clearly a political decision, Khan may regret this. Hardly in the spirit of competition." - it's not like the muslims are running London is it? oh hang on.....
TTT....Muslims have nothing to do with this thread whatsoever.

If tfl has got this so badly wrong, then I expect that they will win their Appeal.
