Gruesome, tasteless, macabre - but worthy of a jail sentence?
I think not.
unacceptable
When I first read it, I thought he'd *only* taken photos of the covered body. But to go back and uncover, then photo it, is somewhat bizarre and creepy behaviour. I can't understand that...maybe it's a bit like teetering on the edge of a precipice when you know you are in danger...a kind of compulsion.
Cultural differences?
I honestly don't know what to say.
It exhibited a complete lack of respect for the deceased and I cannot imagine how anguished and sickened the relatives must have felt.

He deserves to be punished, the sicko.
Part of the problem with social media.

Up until now the media has always known the lines not to cross, now we have an ever increasing competition to have the best picture/news etc. This leads to so called false news and this sort of thing.
Savage!
Perhaps a little harsh TTT. He seems to be just a right knob.
Morbid curiosity is a human trait many share but to go on and post those images is despicable.
Harsh - are you being serious?

As if the pain of seeing someone you love perish is such awful circumstances isn't enough, you then learn that some ghoul has photographed their charred remains and posted it on social media.

Would you have us set the bar for public decency a tad lower, YMB?
I think you have misinterpreted my post.

I dont see how what he did makes him a savage, as far as I can see he did not move or mutilate the body which would then make him a savage. To confirm: I totally and utterly disagree with what he did and I agree with the jail sentence.

I think he did it because he is a bell end nothing else.
The whole "savage" things is just an irony joke for AOG YMB. He used the phrase years ago. Just a TIC comment.

Not in this human it isn't.
disgusting excuse for a human being.

3 months isn't long enough imo
Read the rest of that sentence.
I am with YMB on this one - previous generations of media would have drawn a line at obtaining unsuitable images, because there would have been no market for them.

Today, everyone is 'the media' and that obviously increases the chances of unsuitable people taking unsuitable images, and this is where we end up.

Now I AM getting rather concerned.
