I rather think I agree with the Cafe owner....
I do not mind eating in a family establishment if I am with my friend and her kids - but if hubby and I are out we prefer to eat without the little cherubs.
so there are days I would eat at his and days I would not!
Er me too
Not a popular notion nowadays but his place, his rules. Imo.
Yes, I would support child-free establishments.
I definitely would - many pubs now resemble a creche and I avoid them, so let them take the kids to the pub and I'll go to the café
Yes...100%
Good on him, giving a peaceful haven to the hungry and thirsty who refer not dining in a creche.

Totally agree. Last time we went out for lunch there were 3 kids sat on the nxt table with their parents. They were screaming, arguing, throwing food etc, and their parents didn't say a word! Totally ruined it for us,

What a good Guy, I would go there, and so would 85% of the 6000+ people who answered the question posted in the article.
Sometimes it's the only way for peace and quiet, so yes.
Yes. Just as I'm happy that Wacky Warehouse frowns on adults spoiling the ball-pool environment for children.
I work with children all day and enjoy doing so but tend to choose adult only hotels now for my holidays.
Having been surrounded by children all my life, I now relish the child-free zones. I would definitely choose that cafe over a family one.
Whenever me n mrs c go out for a quiet meal
We always have the Addams family put next to us!
Almost Snap, FF. :-)
The cafe owner without a doubt......I wish him well.....x
Only fair there is choice of eateries to suit all.
If he is talking about unaccompanied children, then I agree with him.
I love children. I love the way they can over react to things. They are just funny to watch.

But...people should be allowed to have a coffee in peace.

Like FF...I only book holidays that don't cater for children. I'd never moan if I went to a child friendly establishment though.
I'd be very happy to see children barred from some cafes, and all pubs!
