Terrible Policing failure at Bristol...clearly due to racial bias. This poor man.

this is a particularly sad case. The guy was falsely labelled as a paedophile and even after being exonerated just could not shake off that label. Couple that with his moronic neighbours and indifferent plods and the poor man is monumentally failed by our system. I feel shame on behalf of all of us that we let this man down, how sad must have been his last weeks. I...

shame on them
I saw a clip on the news yesterday, where the police woman told him to 'Shut up'
Disgusting.
The poor man and his family have been badly, very badly, let down.

Absolutely appalling Minty, as could be seen on last nights CH4 News.
// I saw a clip on the news yesterday, where the police woman told him to 'Shut up' //

I mean would you say anything as insulting as that if you knew you were on viddie ?

and the phone recording - 'oh him again - I will see at my convenience'

jaw dropping stuff
( my part of the country I regret to say)

I saw some wonk from the Police pleading that she was awfully and terribly sorry, on CH4 last night, but no news about the Officers quite plainly seen on the CCTV clips.......the Force have "learnt their lesson" apparently.

If any body really believes that ..........!
// but no news about the Officers quite plainly seen on the CCTV clips//

regional news had I think telephone man acquitted of the crime of misfeasance in public office but dismissed by the police for misconduct

and shut up girl dismissed for misconduct

(I think)
I'm sure there are a few more individuals who have been let down by police forces.
(No, I don't have any evidence to back this up, only my gut feeling)

Mikey, part of me thinks that the lessons learnt are 'don't say anything that will be aired on TV'

Alba....alas, you may be right.

I was going to bring this up yesterday mikey but I just felt too embarrassed, glad you did though.
He was failed. Failed for 7 years. Poor fella. The anxiety and fear he must have felt on a daily basis is beyond comprehension.

The police are so hit and miss.
one o too many there Ummmm ;-)
I don't understand?
Were lessons learned I wonder ?
so minus the o and read
A very heartfelt post there, TTT.
Still don't get it...

Anne - I very doubt lessons will be learned.
ummmm read your post but remove the o from so
I just felt gutted over it jim, no one should have to go through that. Puts a lot of our daily angst and squabbles into perspective.
This is a disgusting state of affairs and yet some seem to think vigilante's have a place and a cause!!
Got it, Murray.

There must be something so deeply wrong with some people to victimise someone like that.
