Walk out feining illness or saying that it was your break now sou you would have no part with saving his life?

Save him with the idea being that deaths the easy way out and you want him to serve the rest of his natural life behind bars?

Help save him as your here to do a job and not judge?

Do something extreme like swap his meds or kick out his drip as "We don't want this scumbag alive?

You're not in the medical profession are you?
The job is to heal, then let justice take it's course. Not anything else.
medics are bound to observe their hippocratic oath....

Yes murraymints and pigs may fly but the truth is sometimes morals, emotions blind us to these little oaths, rules and laws that are meant to govern us.
bit like being a priest..might not like it but them's the rules !!
I would want to preserve his life in order that he faced appropriate justice for all concerned
Nor a medic. I'd be sorely tempted, very sorely tempted, to pull out a drip or something, but 'thou shalt not kill' would override. :(
..You're not in the medical profession are you?//

no he most certainly isnt

NHS staff do NOT make judgements on their patients
you just get on with it
If I were in that situation, I'd do my job.
// the truth is sometimes morals, emotions blind us to these little oaths, rules and laws that are meant to govern us.//

no they dont

what was that ? sometimes morals lead us to act immorally

Ged outta here - TROOOOOOLLL !
> You're not in the medical profession are you?

Could be. All part of 'Operation Quandary'.
Like it or not in that situation I'd.......dive right in and do my job........x

Unfortunatrely the NHS Staff are not programmed robots and do make mistakes all the time such as incompetence, fraud, theft, murder so i don't see morals as being of a high priority.
In the days of capital punishment condemned prisoners were closely watched 24/7 to make sure they didn't cheat the hangman.

Jackdaw, cheat the hangman? Suicide?
Quangoid, when your all growed-up, come back and discuss things with the grown ups, there's a good lad.
I am sure that I would do what is right...that would be my job. It would not be my job to judge..just work to save a life. There really should be no other option...if as a result of my not doing my chosen job the individual died then I would be a killer and no better than him/her. Simple.

Wow, condescend much?
What would you do Quangoid?
Yeah Quang, what would you do?
