What is wrong with this woman, she must be the most uncompassionate person ever!!
Corben, The Queen, Prince William, the London Mayor and others have all shown compassion by meeting 'real' people whereas this woman didn't go near them, instead her visit to the emergency services was staged managed, the same as her election campaign.
The sooner she is gone the better!

Agree 100%. Been reported that she would have needed security. So the Queen, Prince William etc. didn't?
Personally, if I was homeless and was standing around outside Grenfell Tower, wondering what to do, Mrs May is the last person I would have wanted to see !

But she hasn't done herself any favours by not being a little more compassionate has she ?

Just been mentioned on TV, her 'Team' stopped her doing it due to Security Concerns
Stop using this disaster to further your political ends mikey.
Mikey/Maggiebee, let's face it, whatever she did wouldn't suit you.

Incidentally, whilst the victims are no doubt wondering what to do, they aren't standing around without a roof over their heads.

She's now visiting injured in hospital.
imagine the security concerns, lone wolf islamist snuffs the priminister on a compassionate walkabout in london, what a score they would say, if i was pm i wouldnt as much as i have sympathy for them all..i will not get shot stabbed bludgeoned, or run over for no one.
Not a fan of Polly Toynbee, but she summed it up rather well when she wrote:

// What a contrast was Jeremy Corbyn’s visit, hugging and embracing victims, promising to guarantee that never happens. No one could have devised a better parable to convey the difference between the two parties than those two leaders’ visits. No doubt Grenfell residents would have shouted at the prime minister – but after her hermetically sealed election campaign, this confirms that a leader who dare never meet her people is truly done for. //
She has demanded a 'Public enquiry' but it is ONLY to try to avoid a full inquest. Information can legally be withheld from a public enquiry where a full inquest can demand it is made available. An inquest is also able to return a verdict that victims were 'unlawfully killed'
( which in the present situation looks likely) where a public enquiry can make no such decision .
May and the Tory party are doomed if there is a full coroner's inquest, it is well documented that Conservative ministers have repeatedly blocked legislation to ensure the compulsory installation of sprinkler systems!!

You do talk some cobblers sometimes Eddie, and today you are on a roll.
^Ditto to that.
Yes, Polly Toynbee did sum it up very well indeed Gromit ...
Shame Polly Toynbee doesn't recognise exploitation when she sees it.
Blimey Naomi are you May's spin doctor ??
isnt the touchstone for a prime minister whether she can run a country

not how well she kisses small children - mwah mwah mwah
or empathises with the recently bereaved
HereIam, No, I'm not Mrs May's spin doctor and I haven't 'spun' anything. I simply think Labour's gross exploitation of this appalling situation is utterly shameful. I can hardly believe people are falling for it - but they are.
Ideally, but there are a number who could run a country,; getting votes needs more than that. An image that you are a wonderful caring person, helps.
Totally agree with naomi. Very well said!
