. ...enhanced odds on the Tories winning 20/1! That has to be a mistake.

If not, get yourselves down to the bookies pronto. Chance of a lifetime to clean up.

1/20 would be more likely.
You sure its not "odds on" i.e. 1/20?

This is what it says:

Ladbrokes New Customer Offer
Enhanced Odds as an extra punt

UK General Election 2017
was 1/6
NOW 20/1 THERESA MAY
TO BE PRIME MINISTER
(C&P)

I hope for their sake that as in most gambling debts there is no legal liability.
Just checked ... you can only bet £1 (but if you lose you get the pound back) lol.
Ladbrokes 'The magic sign'!!
I got Brexit and Trump results wrong so mine isn't likely to be right, but I'll go for a band of 30-55.
Eh? I thought I was on The Final predictions thread
Don't get it. You put a £1on May and get £21 back?
Are AOG and Ymb offering odds on UKIP getting 2 seats, or mikey on a labour win or < 50 seats thumping. Odds on the Corby trouser-press, as leader, lasting longer than July 01

But you will then have to bet the £20 again before you can put it in your bank.
Obviously more punters stay and lose money rather than take the money and run
As Talbot says, there is a catch and it is always advisable to read the small print on these offers to potential new customers. 888 are currently offering the enhanced price of 6/1 England (should be 3/4) to beat Scotland who, in turn, are an enhanced 16/1 (should be 39/10). The small print will tell you that you have to play through the winnings 'x' amount of times before attempting to withdraw anything.
DTC, you clearly didnt read my post on the prediction thread. i suggest you do before you go throwing insinuations around.
