whatever happened to common sense and democracy, surely he was expressing a view that many hold, if he was chucked off his course then i am glad he is going to the high court to argue his case.
Because they play the race card Mickey. In addition the liberal elite treat Muslims as higher beings so the authorities have little choice but to avoid any controversy with them as they could end up in Court on some trumped up race charge.
Unless you are really really blinkered you must realise this?
good point YMB, homophobia and most other phobias and isms are allowed only from muslims, the rest of us get the wrath of the Liberal elite for any transgression.
"Unless you are really really blinkered you must realise this?"
Why? Because the newspapers say so?
The only people I have ever seen come to the defence of homophobic muslims are a) fellow muslims and b) student unions and c) sometimes - but only sometimes - extremist nutty left-wing journalists. All of these people are completely irrelevant.
Also I am confused as to whether the alleged problem here is that Christians and Muslims are not equally punished for homophobia or whether people feel jealous of Muslims' alleged freedom to be homophobic...
pretty outrageous that he should have been thrown out of university for expressing an opinion on sin. You might think twice before hiring him as a social worker, but that's a different matter. Universities have no business becoming thought police. Good luck to him and to any Muslim in the same boat.
Same sex marriage is not prohibited in the Bible. There is absolutely no mention of it.
The only thing that is mentioning in the Bible is gay sex. Gay sex and same sex marriage are not the same thing.
The Bible also goes on to say how many times you should be able to beat your slave and how to treat women who are having their periods...just in case anyone is interested.
Warning - don't be a slave, and don't ovulate...it doesn't work out well for you.
