Baldric is a retired marine and I think he knows better than most what goes on and has a more than valid point of view in this matter
Baldric, again you would be wrong
Murray, I am not going into my history again but I have done jobs where I have faced possible death on several occassaions. Also I pointed I have spoken to other retired and serving members of the Armed forces and they too feel he is guilty.

Royal Marine please ;o)
finally the right decision.
excooose me Balders...ROYAL MARINE ! xx

/// Baldric you would be very wrong then! ///

Then please enlighten us all, what personal experiences do you have of the stresses involved in his situation?

I very much doubt that you have ever donned a military uniform, except for fancy dress you understand.

he has accepted guilt and been sentenced ..now reduced to manslaughter
AOG I will tell you my experiences when you finally tell us what you did during the war!
If it was the other way around, the 'insurgents' would be celebrating in the streets. No prison for them, more like a reward for killing another unbeliever.
About time, is all I can reiterate.

Haven't most of the human race?

Although increased Health & Safety laws, have prevented quite a few.
Islay, until you tell us the job you did and the roles that the members of the armed forces had, we cannot compare the validity of your statement to Baldrics, an ex Royal Marine who has seen action.
What has AOGs war history got to with this thread?

They're off again, I'm out of here, just too tedious and repetative!

Not aimed at you Vulcan.

It would make your hair curl, but like most of us oldies we don't care to talk about such things.
you were a hairdresser in the war AOG? - well i never!
He shot a bloke who would have shot him, given half a chance. I don't even think it was manslaughter. Justifiable homicide, I'd say.
Better result.
Yeah right AOG!
bednobs
