I think we may have found the reason why Farage has been unable to obtain a seat at Westminster !

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/dec/09/nigel-farage-scathing-attack-ukip-low-grade-people

Perhaps he should have tried some places where "high-grade" people live !

Quote from above link ::::

"Speaking to the Telegraph, Farage said he now has global ambitions beyond the Eurosceptic party, including negotiating trade deals with the US president-elect, Donald Trump, and finding a solution to the Middle East conflict"

Finding a solution to the Middle East Problem ?......Ye Gods....is there no end to this mans arrogance and fantasies ?

"Former party leader ‘having a great time’ not having to deal with people ‘who use me as a vehicle for their own self-promotion’

Irony not Nigel's strongpoint, I feel.
Mind you, that aside, I don't blame him from wanting to run a mile from them
"Farage suggested one role he could potentially play for Trump was a Middle East peace negotiator. "

Might I suggest stand-up comedy instead

If he tries a further time to get into the HOC, it will be his 8th attempt !

Lets hope its not some too common for his new attempt.
He's demob happy now - doesn't have to worry about what the "little people" will think of him struggling on his £85,000 salary, while his city banker friends etc etc etc
It's either a Guardian stitch-up, or he's getting his revenge at last on all those pathetic Godfrey Blooms, David Coburns and Mike Hookems who made his life such a misery.
Watch that space. Scary, eh Mikey? ;o)
Farage will say anything for publicity, it's his drug of choice.
Middle East peace negotiator, why not?

He would certainly make a better job of it than Blair ever did as Middle East Peace Envoy.
I am 99% certain Nigel was pulling our pl***ers with that one:-)

Ichkeria has been doing that for a long time. Remember the UKIP Member that blamed the Somerset floods on men being allowed to marry other men ?

Or Godfrey Bloom for being Godfrey Bloom ?
mikey: ".Ye Gods....is there no end to this mans arrogance and fantasies ? " - well he's sorted out the EU problem, he's on a roll!
" he's sorted out the EU problem " has he? Not quite a done deal yet !!!!!
No it's being scuppered continually by the anti democratic.
The title, "Middle East Peace Envoy", was always a misnomer, since the post never had anything to do with the Middle East as a whole, but was concerned solely with Israeli/Palestinian relations.
Given that no one since biblical times has ever come up with an answer to those, one can hardly blame Mr Blair for failing, too.
As for Farage's likely achievements in the role - especially if that is to apply throughout the entire region - I'd strongly advise anyone against betting on HIS success!
What was his occupation before politics ?

Donny....he was a commodities trader at the London Metal Exchange, before he went on to be a permanent pain in the side of the Tory Party.
Thank you Mike.
....and, from the amount of whining from mikey, the Labour party!
Question Author
Donny....I forgot to add that in between working as a commodity broker, and becoming a pain in the side of the Tory Party, he was actually a Member of the aforesaid Party. He was also, believe t or not, albeit briefly, a Green Party supporter !
