have you seen the prices asked for this new note? AA01 £1000, are people mad paying this sort of money? I have one here AH10 a person on ebay is asking £400 for 4, the worlds gone mad.

Just because someone asks for that much it does not mean they will sell for that much. I could go on eBay and ask £800 for a £2 pound coin. Does not make it worth that much.

Exactly ... you can ask what you want for anything. It doesn't make it worth what you ask.
Dont pay £1000 for a new fiver ... when you can have mine for only a tenner each !
There is one on eBay, no. AK47 and the last bid I saw was £80,000,
I think for most £5 note you'll get £5 (max). Rarities may get more, as they do in any sphere of life.
