an Idea.

It is more than likely, that Muslim Women who wear the Burka in the UK, are not employed because there is not many company's, that could employ them for various reasons.

So as there are many vacancies for supermarkets, and other outlets needing filling, and not requiring professional qualified staff, why cant the Government stop Job-seekers-allowance, to those Ladies who wont remove them.

As this is not an Islamic Country yet! Why should there be a problem?

“When is this daft business of banning modes of dress going to stop ?” When people stop wearing daft modes of dress, I imagine. “What possible difference will it make if some Muslim women are banned from wearing the Burka ?” It will encourage them to integrate into UK society instead of being separate and manifestly different. “What business is it...

237SJ, // Uk companies who employ Muslim women and adapt their uniforms accordingly. //

Why should they? (The NHS, to the detriment of the welfare of the patient have already done this. Quite shameful, in my opinion).
We should all take to the streets wearing burkas, they would soon be banned then.
On you go then...
// The same argument could be used for stopping benefits to people with unsightly tattoos or people who dress scruffily or have BO- all things that may stop people getting jobs // Also do not forget people who are suffering with that deadly affliction WSS ( Work Shy Syndrome)
>we don't have any Burka wearing people where I live.

it's not unusual for people to have a fear of the unknown, trt , and it's only human nature to influenced by what is said by others who share our fear/dislike for other cultures. Maybe if we met some or worked with some we may have a more informed view.

That's funny you said that F/F, not that you knew, but I worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Qatar for 11 years, so I am well aware of the Muslim ways, religion and dress.

Who's 'we'? Speak for yourself.
I chat with everyone, even if only to say hello in passing - garb doesn't stop me.
Not you of course naomi. We know from what you have said before that you know already know all there is to know on this topic so no other view can be right. I'll leave you to it
fiction-factory, childish petulance doesn't become any grown man. You've been invited several times to demonstrate that what I say on the subject of Islam is incorrect, an invitation that you've consistently failed to accept.
Naomi has indicated before she has nothing more to learn on the subject of Islam so will understand if won't waste pixels replying to her.

Thanks trt- you are right, I wasn't aware you had worked in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Qatar for 11 years. I am wondering whether you managed to integrate successfully and adapt your clothing to fit in with the locals. I'm also wondering whether perhaps it was the locals there who tipped you off about how their sisters in Bradford, Birmingham etc were remaining on JSA by making sure they didn't get appointed to supermarket jobs.

No she hasn't.
Noted, naomi. Apologies.
>it would be illegal, but good for the Burka wearer, as they wouldn't knows who they are paying JSA too (to?)
