Hardly a days seems to go by without another atrocity. Can you just go and buy a machete then?

Lol.
Yet another "unrelated to Islam" attack by a Muslim, and by the way only 20 miles from where I now sit.
No such atrocities are being carried out by Christians, Jews, Buddhists or members of any other religion, why could that be?
Machetes have legitimate uses. I have one for use in the garden.
Well I'm heartened to hear there were no other murders on the same day Khandro - not many countries can say that.

This is tragic.
Khandro, people kill each other every day. Buddhists. Jews, Christians, just lock your doors and be vigilant. Don't be a victim. Are you scared?
Love you mams. Lol
Refusal to acknowledge reality isn’t smart. Of late we have seen several appalling attacks that, initially at least - if the apologists were to be believed - had nothing to do with Islam – despite that being the common factor.
There is still no evidence that these last two atrocities were terrorism connected. In the case of the shopping mall attack, it was done on the 5th anniversary of the Anders Breivik attack in Norway, by a young man obsessed with such attacks. He killed 9 people, amongst whom were three Turkish, three Kosovan and one Greek.
I think your arguments are valid Mikey but I think you'll never persuade Naomi otherwise, so maybe you'd be better off doing what I'm going to do which is point out the real facts once and then leave her to it if she continues along the same lines. Whilst I agree that the common theme is these latest cases is not Islam but it is asylum seekers or recent immigrants from Africa, and it's clear Germany has allowed in some people who shouldn't have been let in.
i have just woke up to this this, has it had anything to do with a mad deranged mentally ill muslim man ?

just asking.
Not sure if he was a practising Muslim DD but he was a Syrian refugee- and this looks more like a domestic type incident if as reports suggest the killer worked in the same kebab shop as the pregnant woman he killed.
There is another case this morning involving a mentally ill asylum seeker who has blown himself up at a music festival
Bavarian interior minister

''We don't know if he wanted to commit suicide or kill other people"

Strewth!
Mikey; //There is still no evidence that these last two atrocities were terrorism connected.//

"German authorities said the Wuerzburg attacker was believed to be a "lone wolf" who was "inspired" by IS but not a member of the terror group."

Sky news
I am absolutely agog at the efforts of some on here to remove entirely any blame from Islam or from immigration.

It is very clear that immigration is an underlying factor in Germany. The fact they are Muslim may or may not be a factor, but when you have a religion that says you go to heaven with 70 Virgins if you kill the infidel that alone must surely remove much of the doubt many of us sane people would have about dying?
And now this morning, news of yet another attack, the 4th in two weeks;
http://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-germany-blast-idUKKCN1040Y8
fiction-factory at 07:27, haha! What a card. :o)
\\ Retro....both the men responsible for these attacks were born in Germany long before the current crisis developed. There is no connection with terrorism whatsoever.//
So they were born in Germany, terrorised German people and yet are not terrorists. How does that work then?
If all murderers (inckuding Yorkshire ripper, Raoul Moat, the Dunblane killer), are regarded as terrorists then you are right
this morning's attack was carried out by a man with a history of suicide attempts, who'd spent time in a psychatric clinic.

But obviously the only relevant factor is that he was Syrian; that explains everything.
