The Kinnocks are irrelevant, the Tory Party isn’t in disarray, and as for salvaging what Peter Pedant describes as economic advantages, to whose real economic advantage is it that we remain in the single market which carries with it the obligation to allow the free movement of people, one of the fundamental principles the majority of the electorate rejected? From a trading point of view we are by far much more valuable to the EU than it is to us. Do you really think the Germans, the French, and the Italians will put their thriving businesses at risk and thousands of their workers on the breadline by refusing to sell their cars to us? I don’t think so – and if they do choose to cut off their noses to spite their faces, I’ve no doubt that Asia will be only too willing to oblige us. Man up or goodness sake!! There’s a whole world out there – and it isn’t likely to end any time soon!
The research shows that Lady Kinnock earned £774,838 during her time as an MEP.
She was also entitled to a daily subsistence allowance worth £505,818 over that time, travel allowances worth almost £1.25million and general allowances worth £577,071.
In addition, she was entitled to secretarial allowances worth more than £2.3million, although these are to pay staff.(Family)

The EU depends on the UK for 16% of its export trade.
The UKs exports to the EU are nearly 3 times that at 45%.
You can argue that we can plug the 45% loss by trading with the rest of the world, which is true. But likewise, the EU can plug the 16% loss of exporting to us by exporting to the rest of the world also. Which sounds like a more achievable target.

EU exports 16% of its total exports to Britain, how much exactly is that in real term. I think that it is £291Billion!!!!!
The lovely big fat (3 X times as much remember) 45% of UK exports to the EU is a real figure of £229 Billion. Now it is a while since I was at school, but I can still figure out that 229 is not 3 X 291. Lies, damned lies, and statistics.
