Incredibly sad.

Small comfort but at least he was found and at least he was intact.

I couldn't imagine the horror images that must have been going through the parents head.

Agree with Ummm. Totally terrible for his parents, I gather they were fighting the animal to try to drag their child away - they'll forever feel horrible guilt that they couldn't do it. Truly a tragedy. :(
