After seeing Part 1 and part 2, I eagerly await part 3 next week, when Green appears before the Committee. But now he is attempting to call the tune !

Just to please the right-wingers on here, I will quote the Tory Business Minister, Anna Soubry ....she tweeted: "Sir Philip needs to understand Parliament is the boss, get a grip [and] get in front of the committee on Weds."

Green, whose Arcadia Group sold BHS for £1 to a former bankrupt in 2015, has been accused of taking money out of BHS while the pension fund sank deep into deficit.

I think he should get before the Committee and tell us his side of the story, and then we can make our minds up about what happened.

My mind is nearly made up with the evidence in parts 1 and 2 , but there are still a few pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that is still missing.

Here is a question that I would ask him....

Why did you take huge sums of BHS, while the black hole in the pension scheme was growing alarmingly ?

Because he is a crook.

Lets wait until those last jigsaw pieces Khandro, before we call him a crook, or a shyster, or an asset-stripper, or pretty much anything else ( ! )
Are you saying right-wingers would not condemn a crook just because he is a Tory. I hope not, that would be very insulting.

His wife seems to have come out of the BHS failure very well doesn't she?

No Ladybirder, but if I had quoted Frank Field, the Usual Suspects would have laid into me, so I was attempting to head them off at the Pass.

But I expect someone will come along to Greens aid soon.
I have a lot of time for Frank Field actually mikey, albeit I am a Tory supporter. He talked a lot of sense over Welfare Reform but was ignored if I remember correctly. Anyway I'm going off thread so I shall clear orf.
// But I expect someone will come along to Greens aid soon. // Just to keep the peace, how about Greenpeace ?

LadyB....I am a fan of Field as well !
Question Author
Lady B....by the way, any discussion about Frank Field isn't off-topic at all,
as Green is objecting to Field and is now refusing to appear before the Committee until he resigns.
