Some of us will remember Ford as the man who lied about smoking crack cocaine.

What a fantastic man, he will be dearly missed, but a least he died knowing he had made a difference.
Mikey, have you taken sort sort of 'hippocracy' pill today. Bemoaning one thread for being insensitive and then highlighting the fact that someone who has recently died was CC user?
Question Author
Not at all Zacs....I am of the opinion that Ford will be remembered more for his drug addiction than anything else.
and you don't see that as being insensitive?

Thoughts are with his family, if he had one, other than that,
Who ???

The Trump of Toronto: He was, locally, quite controversial.
I read the news feeds i then come on here and its deja vu all the time with mikey just regurgitating the same headlines on here...

Stuey...I think it was his constant denials about being a drug addict that was worse than the actual drug taking itself. I seem to remember that there was some film or photos and it was clear that it was him, but he still kept denying it.
It was a frenetic media and social networking frenzy locally as far as I'm concerned: a tempest in a cracked tea-pot, one might say.
Question Author
Stuey...you were much closer to the events than I was, so I will accept what you say.
Mikkey Cancer ? what did he have ?

and Mikey dont say - oh two lines of coke most days to wake up

god he looks a big guy to get drunk or high if you are paying the bill
Petah, he was always a big man, but the treatments that he was on obviously exacerbated the situation.

Some of will not. I mean, come on, do we really care. Are we going to get RIP threads everytime someone dies.

RIP?
I thought it was more of a "rejoice at that news" thread.
I've written myself a wee memo to the effect that, if I get seriously ill, come out as gay or claim asylum just to be sure I get a sympathetic comment or two on Answerbank.
Douglas, I do believe that your horny shagginess will be remembered by all:)
Outstanding in my field maybe? :-P
