Absolutely disgraceful that this has been allowed and deliberately encouraged and there is no end in sight...

Both my children were born broad and in employment
Disgrace?
a third of the children born in Britan have a foreign-born parent? Outrageous!

Of course, it includes jno jnr.
Typical London-centric piece from the Telegraph.

But I can find no evidence that "The Country Is Slowly But Surely...being destroyed......its heritage , its culture and its identity"

//Typical London-centric piece from the Telegraph.//

It's about London. Why would it not be "London-centric"?
The OP has suggested that "The Country " etc, etc.

I am merely pointing that there is no evidence of that in the link.
... apart from where it says //Third of children born in England has foreign-born parent //
I think you'd end up with only a few regulars and when they die off, so would the site.
oops wrong thread :)
Quizproquo. wrong thread.
Cross-posted.
I was in Southampton a couple of months ago. I promise you that it was unusual to meet or hear an English speaker on the High St. I was only there for about 4hrs though. You ought to make a point of visiting say Bradford, amongst other cities mikey. It can be pretty disconcerting at the least. Dangerous at times.
I suggest you read a history of London - Peter Ackroyd's is quite good.
Not sure there ever was a period when London wasn't "invaded" by someone.

I always think of comparisons between the USA and Russia when people raise this issue. One country is built on immigration (admittedly some of it rather nasty) and one is built on the enslavement (literally) of its own people by their compatriots.

I often wonder how many of the Little Englanders are actually descendants of immigrants, however distant.
Immigrants have been flowing into this country for thousands of years - it's NOTHING NEW.
//Hands up which is the better place to live //

Why is that relevant?

Oh yeah, not relevant at all. Sorry, ignore me :--)
