I just wish he'd used English words without exception and forborne to explain that charity was 'zakat' - that was totally unnecessary. If in UK speak English. I think it is a very good message, a clear one that does not ignore the bad that has happened.


I realise it is political speak but can see no wrong within the words.
I don't recall him wishing Christians a Happy Easter. Or Jews a Happy Hanukka, or Sikhs.... I think you get the idea.

But where are the Jews and Sikhs, ummmm? A Prime Minister wishing a Christian country a Happy Christmas or a Happy Easter isn’t unexpected, but I really think this country pays far too much lip service to Muslims.
