First leaflet? Blimey, we are climbing over them already through our letterbox, my recycling bin is full of the damed things!
Bored with it, as soon as they announce another party political broadcast, the tv channel is changed. The sight of Tony Blair yesterday had me seething.
It seems that complacency may rule here..... again, interesting. First thing we did the other week was register to vote. I'll let you all know when the first leaflet arrives.
^^^ Me, too askyourgran!
No leaflets here yet either.
I am registered to vote, alway vote and give serious consideration to how I will use my vote. That doesn't mean I want leaflets, debates, actors giving me their opinion on TV, (as though their opinion matters) sniping, spinning, tweeting or baby kissing.
I have always voted (not always for the same party) and am now in my seventies but I have no time for these TV debates. After all Clegg was voted the winner last time so what does that tell you? As for Blair gurning his way back the least said the better.
I'm not bored yet................ very interesting in Scotland .
We haven't had any election posters at our new address although we have now registered here. Our forwarded mail from the old address is being sent to us including the mailshots from the local candidates for that area.
it's just you. I'm loving it!
^Me too. If I get fed up with someone prattling, I stop reading or switch off.
Yes totally fed-up with hearing the same things over and over again, in fact it is creeping over to the news section of AnswerBank too.

///hearing the same things over and over again///

has been a feature of the News Section for as long as I can remember!
AOG, //in fact it is creeping over to the news section of AnswerBank too. //

Despite the looming election, you're still allowed to post on other topics that interest you more.

I know that, but just try telling the others.
I think they know.

Blair, gurning - LOL, I love that description. Gurn away, matey.
It does seem more rampant than previous election campaigns. Probably due to the rise in the use of social media.
Just received out first election leaflet - I did say that I'd let you know. It is sitting in state until I glean a full set, which I will then read and throw away:)
