I don't see a problem, most pork products are easily replaced by other things. Sausages are mainly rubbish anyway and really shouldn't be served at schools, the only decent ones would be too expensive for the school lunch budgets.

Why do we continue to kow-tow to our ethnic minorities, surely it is up to the children to know if they are not allowed to eat it because of their religious beliefs, if they are far to young then why bother it won't do them any harm to eat pork?

This is no big deal. In Islington, Tower Hamlets and a few other boroughs these schools are becoming Faith schools in their entirety. Sharia law starting to rule!!
