gordie, you will of course shortly have the opportunity to formulate your own rules - if you vote "yes".

farrier, if gordie votes "yes", it will condemn you to a lifetime of conservatism. enjoy!!
Maybe it is too little too late but it still beats leaving things as they are.

I am an avid no voter. The immigrants are taking jobs that should be given to British people
Oh dear mushy, that,s got you sorted then .
Of course, and not for the first time, Mr Cameron is talking a load of wind and puff. In particular, as far as benefits go, he is talking only of "out of work" benefits. (Basically, so-called jobseekers' allowance - currently about £72 per week). It does not include Housing Benefit, Council Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit or Child Allowance. Have a look and see how much these can amount to.
Farrier, I’m honest with everyone including myself, but I’m not spiteful. I have no idea who’s going to win the next election but credit where credit is due. At least this bunch is actually trying to do something to address the appallingly lax benefits system. Personally, I’d like to see them do more.
/// so we have the thieves from the labour party back ///

That's what I like about the Right - such in-depth political debate, backed up by solid evidence.
if the immigrants are here to work then how comes when I am in town do I rarely hear an english accent, let alone the english language? ah, no wait, they must all be overnight shift workers....ah no wait, if that were true, when do they sleep? ah no wait, do they need sleep?
Canary, the Labour government rifled pensions, they sold off our gold reserves at a knock down price, and they abolished the 10p tax rate for the low paid. Is that solid evidence enough for you? The party of the working man? Any working man who thinks so needs to think again.
If you don't vote, gordie, then you have no say in the future of your country, and IMO people who don't vote aren't in a position to criticise what DOES happen.

The immigrants taking our jobs argument has been discussed many times - the NHS would fall over if it weren't for doctors and nurses from abroad filling the vacancies.
//the NHS would fall over if it weren't for doctors and nurses from abroad filling the vacancies. //

That's the standard argument, but I'm not sure it really stacks up when you consider the number of extra people the immigrant doctors and nurses are employed to treat simply as a result of immigration.
gordie didn't say he doesn't vote, boxy.
......and once the illegals and those who are to be deported for one reason or another are held in custody, attended appeals tribunals (with interpreters) and then put on the planes back to their homeland, all that will have wiped out any money saved by cutting the benefits time. But at least Dave has tried. I would hate to think we'd get the circus back if Dave loses the election.
