And what about the recent comments from Labour Mp, Mr Gapes claiming UKip's posters are racist, would you agree they are racist?. If Mr Gapes believes the posters are racist then would / should he have reported the criminal offence to the police or is he talking rubbish.

By no stretch of the imagination can I be described as a Farage Fan, but if he p*sses off Berlusconi, well...perhaps he can't be all bad. I just wish he would rein in the more fruitier of his fruitcakes.

To be supported and defended by the truly appalling Nick Griffin must surely be the best reason that you could ever need to steer clear of UKIP, however you might agree with their one and only policy.

As I stated mickey I think they will do well in the May elections but not in the General - just a wake up call to the three main parties. I also think that possibly in the not so near future we will be the minority as we are in quite a few boroughs now.

So I am not sure what the "we" that you mention actually is ? Are you saying that soon "the majority" in Britain will not be white and Anglo-Saxon ?

Stats obtained during the recent Census would not appear to suggest that Britain is likely to be anything other than white and Anglo-Saxon any time soon, unless you can produce real evidence to the contrary.

Can I remind you that in addition to the support of the BNP, UKIP has been courted by the odious Marine Le Pen, daughter of the even more ghastly
Jean-Marie Le Pen ?

Mikey, just going off topic for a moment but being as you're a keen Labour supporter can you tell me if their politicians have ever made racist remarks ?.

They may have done, just like the Tories may have done ( remember Nicholas Ridley ? ) But Labour and the Tories, in addition to the LibDems, are not a one-trick pony, like The Man in the Pub, and UKIP.

Every time one of his more nutty slices of fruitcake escapes from the cake tin, Farage appears on Newsnight, or CH4 news, and feins horror and pledges that it won't happen again.

Until it does happen again, sometimes just days or hours afterwards. These kind of people are attracted to UKIP because they feel at home there, and, more importantly, they think that they can work undetected and unmolested.

Well, undetected until they open their mouths and put both feet in, like this latest idiot has done. Did he really think that he could insult Lenny Henry, a well-loved British entertainer and get away with it ? The answer is, yes, he thought he could, and that speak volumes about UKIP and what it stands for.
Not long ago, Farage said that all UKIP candidates had to sign a declaration that said that they were not a loony. But recent events have shown that this was just a PR exercise, to throw the media of Farage's back for a few days.

I have made this point before but managing UKIP is akin to herding cats, an next to impossible task.
