We are constanly being told that LGBTs just want to be treated as equal, yet this shows anything but.

The Holocaust is a useful propaganda tool for Zionists. They have a memorial for gay victims of Nazism because they must think it helps their cause.
I think you're missing the point here

This is for LGBTs killed because they were that way

Not particularly for Jewish or gypsy victims who just happened to be gay.

note the report says:

//It is the first Holocaust memorial in Israel that deals with both Jewish and non-Jewish victims alike, according to local reports.//

...and didn't the Nazis persecute gays as much as they did other groups they didn't approve of?
So, if you were a Jewish Gay Gypsy Communist things looked a bit bleak then.
Err...

for the same reason there are 'special memorials' for Jewish victims
and no doubt for the Nazis' political victims
and potentially their Gypsy victims
and if Hitler was still around there would probably be a "Benefits Street" one as well. Oh, hang on, if he was still around there wouldn't be any memorials would there.
3T: If gay people don't want equality, what do you think they want?
Not quite sure that a separate monument to recognise that gays were also specifically targeted by the Nazis in any way detracts from memorials for holocaust victims and the war dead more generally. How does that work?
why were only 15,000 lbgt killed, that is a shockingly low number. If the proportion of gays in society is what the gay community claim it to be then about a million should have been killed. Either the nazis were being lenient by a factor of 70 or the gay community have got something wrong.
They stayed in the closet.
safest place to be..
Jom: LGBT people can hide much easier than other minorities can.

As for prevalence - all we can do is ask people. 25% of Londoners surveyed claim to have had or same-sex experience, or say they would given the chance.

I'd still like to know what 3T thinks gays want if not equality.
Kromo, what contitutes a same sex experience? going to the pub with a same sex mate or being raped by him/her? moving as I don't in lgbt circles I am at a loss to understand exactly what it means. Are we talking about petting or rape?
Consensual sexual activity.
//It is the first Holocaust memorial in Israel that deals with both Jewish and non-Jewish victims alike, according to local reports.//

Rather than encouraging equality, this serves to emphasise differences. Far better if it represented all victims.
Consensual sexual activity. ....is what exactly? a kiss? more?
I am now expecting a memorial for all non Jewish non lgbt persons to be opened at any moment.....not.
.
Are they more significant that the the non LGBT dead?

Do you go past every memorial - to the war dead in a village or anyone
and said to a passer-by - why they done that ven ? they more special than uvvers ?

You put a memorial because you want to remember something
same mem word

I suppose one puts up a memorial in c ase people forget the contribution they made. I am not getting at you 3T - I am not sure if you could forget as you were never aware in the first place
A significant portion of men in London* have said they either have done or would do whatever they consider to be sex with someone of the same gender. Naturally, if the questions were more prescriptive, the pool of responses would be smaller.

*(Well, of the males among the 10,0000 or so respondents to TimeOut's most recent sex survey - make of that what you will, though I'm fairly sure you'll dismiss it wherever it comes from.)
@browntrout, you could not have a Jewish Gypsy. Gypsies are not just travelling folk but a specific group with special beliefs. It is my belief that sexual preference comes in a variety of "strengths" ie there are people who are in the middle of the spectrum who can chose to be with men or women (or indeed both). That said, in society at that time, to be known as gay was a difficult even dangerous lifestyle. Therefore, a high proportion of those not with a strong preference would veer towards the heterosexual lifestyle. Hence the percentage difference. I say again...in my opinion. I am not gay. But am have a number of gay friends and family.
