no it won't, because he says the same old tripe, that Sharia law will rule in Britain, that the killers of Lee Rigby were right in their actions over our stance in Islamic countries, that Islam is the true way and that infidels will come into line, or be eliminated as is the way of the Qu'ran,
haven't you ever listened to him, because i have, he gets lots of air time, publicity for his cause, and his followers hang on his every word. What i would like to see is an intelligent Muslim opponent tell him that he is out on a limb with this ideology that it's not wanted by people of Britain, that if he doesn't like the country, it's democracy, though i know he was born here, he should find a country that has all that he wishes, like Saudi

He wants to stop Muslims selling alcohol, as the march in Brick Lane showed, telling the restaurant, bar owners it's not the Islamic way,
forgetting that Brick Lane does not have just curry houses, it has lots of restaurants, bars that are more European in their cuisine, so is he suggesting they should tow the line. Telling people this is a Muslim area, and that gays are not wanted and women who wear make up are w hores

It's about time we stood up to their declaration of war and took up alms ourselves.
If we are at war with Islam then all mosques should be shut, all Muslims rounded up and interned (As we did with the Germans).
They want war, ok lets give it to them, at least in this country.

What I dont understand is surely his speeches are incitement to violence.
If any of us did this we would be arrested and prosecuted with all vigor and haste.
Saw the brother of Lee Rigbys killer this morning. He thinks his brother is right lets start by locking him up, he is clearly a danger to our unarmed troops on the streets.

John Humphrys gave him ample opportunity to condemn the butchering of Rigby, but he continued to avoid giving a clear and unequivocal answer. Every time he is interviewed on the radio or the TV, he puts on his usual performance. As a believer in free speech I am loath to deny him the right to his views but it made for very uncomfortable listening this morning. It was nothing other than weasel words. Humphrys should be congratulated for not losing his temper....I am not sure I could have been so controlled.

I've just listened to that and would urge anyone who is in any doubt about Choudary's agenda, and that of his many cohorts, to do likewise. As he says 'You will never understand because you are not looking at it from an Islamic perspective' - and he's absolutely right. I posted this on another thread last night.

with the crackdown on those who can work yet claim benefits, why does he get any, he is able, obviously intelligent enough to train as a solicitor, so they should stop them and tell him to get a bloody job and support himself and his family.

i have listened to him a number of times, he gets featured on the news often enough, he has said that he believes that the killing of Lee Rigby was justified, makes you proud that Britain bred such as this man, and more to follow undoubtedly. Cut off his benefits and any one who follows him that is able bodied, he is so why does he get this money.
Why isn't he prosecuted for inciting violence? Or, indeed, for a 'race hate' offence? Because he is trained as a lawyer and is very careful to keep within the bounds of free speech, and his words are framed in such a way that , when read, they stay within the law. That also explains why he avoids some direct questions; if he answered them directly, he might find himself outside the legal boundaries
