In the week that sees the fallen honoured on Remembrance Day it's ironic that a petition has appeared on Change.org calling for this soldier to be allowed to receive his pension. He is being made redundant 3 days before he becomes eligible.
This petition has already collected almost 50,000 signatures. Will you add yours?

Signed, sandy.

Disgraceful way to treat a soldier for the sake of 3 days.
I had the e-mail about it, consider it signed.
I signed it earlier. I would normally say "rules are rules" but for a matter of da(us it does seem pretty harsh that he gets no pension.

You'd think an opposition MP might pick up on this issue. A question to Cameron today in the Commons would leave him little wriggle room. He could be forced to do the right thing.
Signed with great pleasure. Our lads and lasses in the forces are laying their young lives on the line for the safety of this country and for us. To treat them in this manner is a national disgrace. David Cameron should hang his head in shame and resign if he allows this to happen.

a terrible thing to do, he will get a reduced pension but that is not right at all
