How much more rubbish are they going to inflict on us in the name of charity?

Do people actually go out and buy this sentimental slush?

Why are we happy to sing about people getting blown to bits?

All charity records tend to leave me cold, with the notable exception of Ban Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas, I love that one.
I can't listen to children singing without wanting to strangle them to make them stop.
So never take Daffy along to your child's nativity concert Jude ;-)

...they might sound better being strangled!
probably not best to invite me either....
That is truly horrible.

Perhaps we could get some muslim men to burn copies of it.

Fluff, you're in tune and on message!

Gromit, LOL!
Get a grip AOG, and personal insults are not allowed on AB.
Over-reacting much, AOG?
How can you tell he's 'disarranged'...........
The reality is that soldiers are blown to bits and charities like the Royal British Legion raise money through the Poppy Appeal to help them and/or their dependants. If you don't like the song don't buy it. If you don't like the charity don't make a donation.
Oh for goodness sake, get a grip, AOG, and a sense of humour at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nobody said they don't like the charity, just the song.
I have supported the British Legion for years via direct debit, buying poppies and merchandise and giving to street collectors.

I support the BL on a regular basis,
I will not be buying that recording,
It was truly Dreadful!
i can babysit yes, do you want me to babysit is altogether a different question
Can't stand kiddies singing, was bad enough going my childrens primary school warblings.

I wonder if they'll use the auto-correct type on their vocals.
Can't remember what on earth it's called, but it enhances the vocals of the person attempting to sing.
i will buy a poppy and wear it, as i always do.
